UV Source
Ozone-free medium-pressure mercury-vapor lamp.
Exposure
Rotating specimen drum supports more uniform irradiation.
Control
Test duration and chamber temperature are regulated throughout the cycle.
NF-5 UV Radiation Resistance Tester
UV Irradiation Test System for Laminated Glass
The NF-5 provides controlled ultraviolet irradiation for evaluating laminated glass after prolonged exposure, with regulated temperature, timed operation and rotating sample positioning for uniform irradiation.
System Overview
UV Source
Ozone-free medium-pressure mercury-vapor lamp.
Exposure
Rotating specimen drum supports more uniform irradiation.
Control
Test duration and chamber temperature are regulated throughout the cycle.
Technical Architecture
Test Principle
The specimen is first evaluated for light transmittance before irradiation where required.
The specimen is exposed inside the NF-5 for the specified test duration and temperature.
After irradiation, the specimen can be evaluated again for visible discoloration and reduction in light transmittance.
Key Features
Ozone-free quartz tubular medium-pressure mercury-vapor arc lamp.
Sample drum rotates from 1–5 rpm to support more uniform irradiation.
Controlled chamber temperature from ambient temperature to 100°C.
Programmable exposure duration from 0–300 hours.
Suitable for automotive, architectural and fire-resistant laminated glass specimens.
When the preset irradiation time is reached, operating functions stop while the main power remains in standby.
