FZT-2 Fully Automatic Float Glass Zebra
Angle Tester

Objective zebra-angle measurement using CCD imaging and virtual moiré analysis

The FZT-2 is a precision optical inspection system designed for manufacturers who require reliable, repeatable zebra-angle measurement in float glass production.

Conventional zebra-angle inspection relies on human visual judgement, resulting in inconsistent and subjective results. The FZT-2 eliminates this variability by applying CCD imaging and virtual moiré deformation analysis, ensuring objective, traceable, and repeatable zebra-angle measurements.

system overview

HOW THE FZT-2 WORKS

Step 1 – Zebra Method A zebra stripe screen provides a reference pattern behind the glass sample as it is rotated.
Step 2 – CCD Image AcquisitionA high-resolution CCD camera captures stripe deformation caused by optical distortion in the glass.
Step 3 – Automatic Analysis Virtual moiré algorithms detect stripe deformation, identify the critical threshold, and calculate the zebra angle automatically.
